GRACE……..FROM THE WORD GO

So, I keep hearing in a whisper in my spirit, Grace, Grace, Grace. I believe God is going to bless someone’s heart with this and i will be happy if it does to even one person. Shall we talk Grace then? Unmerited favour, it is the gift of God unto salvation Romans 5:6-8. “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners Christ died for us” Grace and mercy are often interchangeable, they explain where His mercy supersedes His judgement (James 2:13) in not getting the condemnation a criminal/sinner deserves. Instead of imprisonment, we get clothed with royal robes and wine and dine with the King of Kings, it is nothing but Grace! God loved us so much, so much so that he planned salvation even before we realised we have fallen short of His glory. Sin made Man lost the fellowship He had with God and Jesus was sent to die for by his death on the cross, the gap between God and man is bridged Halleluyah! What a God! What a Saviour? But do we keep on sinning so that the Grace might abound (Romans 6:1)? vs 2 says “by no means! we have died to sin, how can we live in it any longer? As Christians, we are saints of the Most High and the sight of sin should disgust us. We are all products of Grace and no one should boast. I leave you with a prayer I have been praying for a very long time now, a lyrics by Casting crowns “Dear Lord, would you break my heart for what breaks yours?” Amen. Happy mid week. 20150125_121119 20150125_121151

  1. wow God’s grace is indeed all I need. but how much of his grace can I have each time I sin. I remember that portion that says shall we continue in sin that grace may abound, hmm

    1. You are right Richie! Yes He loves us and yes His grace abounds but we cannot keep on sinning wilfully because as sons and daughters of a Righteous God, righteousness should “run in our blood” and sin should disgust us. I am happy you are blessed by this 🙂

    2. If you really understand what the grace of God is you will hate sin and depend on this grace to live Holy rather wandering if you sin how much grace you have. Grace does not stop at salvation but a continues journey of sanctification of Holiness through transformation of the old to the new life relying full in the power of the Holy Spirit which is GRACE! A life of gratitude and love for God and His grace on you will not struggle with sin, does not mean you can’t sin but you grow to perfection, Blessings.

      1. Thank you auntie Grace for that. Indeed the Grace of God extends all through our walk with Him, enabling us to not struggle with sin. Talking of Sin, David the man after God’s own heart sinned quite frequently i’d say but he was the man after God’s own her because he admits he sinned, Confess his sin and never go back to it again.Growing to perfection.

  2. The bible said dat a lazy man will serve ordinary men, but a hard working man will serve kings. I see ur work and God sees it too and he will bless ur work in encouraging others. And u will work among kings and princes becos u have used ur gift to de glory of his name. God bless u my dear. We love u, and God loves u.

  3. Mercy and Grace aint interchangeable. Mercy is a subset of Grace. Mercy pardons, while Grace pardons and gives u something better, undeserved. In Rev 13:8, we see that our names were written in the book before the foundations of the earth. He chose us. He called us and predestined that we be saved. He works in us to will and to do. He worketh out our salvation by his Hand. He is the Holy one of Israel
