Hello beautiful people, first let me apologise for the late post. I had a very busy day today that is why. Recently I was thinking about John 3:16 which is the most popular verse amongst little Christian children and usually the first memory verse kids learn (in my opinion). For me and my elder brother however, the first memory verse we learnt was thought us by our mum which was Joshua 1:8. I will share it below and let you ponder over it. It says:
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (NIV).
Notice the promise at the end of the command? Being prosperous and successful. On Friday God was challenging me to seek Him more. Often times we get too busy trying to amass wealth, wisdom, trying to socialise and forget that we need time alone with God. Time for studying the word on our own and as a body of Christ (Local Church Bible study).
I pray for Grace to be able to meditate on His word day and night!
FASHION TODAY: So, summer is coming to an end and I still haven’t rocked any African outfit yet. For the fear of what the African fashion god can do (Amadioha maybe LOL), Today I wore this iro and buba for the shoot. If you follow me on facebook (which you should by the way: its Kays fashion), you must have seen a picture of me in this same outfit. That picture was from last Autumn and I didn’t wear it again until almost a year later. It was gifted to me last year and when I wore it then I wore it with a heeled sandal. Well today I substituted that with a lovely court heel and by the way, God bless whoever designed the first court heel because I think it is a shoe made in heaven for me lol. Half my shoe stand are court heels. They make you look classy and they just never fail; and in my opinion, the higher they are, the better. I love when my courts are over 4.7 inches, I have a couple 4.5inches. Anything less is not for me.
So this lovely court heel is from Blue inc, my anklet is from Claire’s and rings were from Newlook and H and M. My lipstick is Stiletto by Sleek: Here. My nail polish was from Super drug.
May I use this time to appreciate everyone who called, messaged/left a comment, condoled me in person or even prayed a silent prayer for me over the demise of my granddad, thank you so much and may the good Lord bless you for your prayers and may He meet you at the point of your needs, may He raise people to pray for you when you are tired and weak. Amen!
God bless you and thanks for stopping by,
Miss Kay.
I love the write up and your headline,I had to repost 😁

So true dear sometimes I find it so hard to have my quiet time in the morning as am always rushing for work which is due to not going to bed early most of the time, but it is so essential that we spend time with God to listen to him for his guidance to succeed in this life. I love the verse and as God commands always come with a sweet promise. Love the outfit and home will always be AFRICA..
